Portfolio Profit allows exporting your data in two formats:
To export your data, go to File → Export and choose either CSV or JSON.
While the CSV export only contains your transactions, the JSON export contains transactions, accounts, and instruments (including splits and ticker symbols). Price data is not included in any export as those can easily be re-downloaded from the internet.
For backup purposes, it’s recommened to perform a JSON export.
